Infant Care at Jelly Bean Junction
Choosing the right infant care provider is one of the most meaningful decisions a parent can make during their baby’s first year. At Jelly Bean Junction, we understand how important it is for families to find a place where their child will be loved, nurtured, and supported through every stage of early development. That’s why our infant care program is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, engaging, and personalized environment for babies from 6 weeks to 12 months of age.
Personalized Infant Care in a Warm, Loving Environment
Our infants are cared for in the Bunny Room, a cozy, age-appropriate classroom created to meet the specific needs of our youngest children. With a low teacher-to-infant ratio of 1:4, our caregivers are able to form strong, responsive connections with each baby. Every infant is treated as an individual, with their own unique feeding, sleeping, and activity schedule. Our team is trained to recognize and respond to each child’s cues, offering gentle care that helps build a foundation of trust and emotional security.
What Parents Provide—and What We Supply
Families play an essential role in our infant care program. Parents are asked to bring diapers, wipes, and extra changes of clothing for their child’s comfort and hygiene throughout the day. We take care of the rest—Jelly Bean Junction provides baby formula, baby food, and age-appropriate solid foods as your baby grows and is ready for each new stage. We are committed to supporting both bottle-fed and breastfed infants, and nursing parents are welcome to visit during the day. If preferred, expressed breast milk can be safely stored in our on-site refrigerators.
Respecting Each Baby’s Natural Rhythm
At Jelly Bean Junction, we believe that rest is just as important as play in the first year of life. Each baby follows their own nap schedule based on their individual needs. Our caregivers provide a calm, quiet space for sleeping and remain attentive at all times to ensure each child feels secure and comfortable. Whether it’s a short nap or a long one, we respect each infant’s natural rhythms and routines.
Real-Time Communication Through the Procare App
Consistent and open communication is a cornerstone of our infant care philosophy. Using the Procare App, our team provides real-time updates to parents throughout the day. You’ll know when your baby was fed, how long they napped, when their diaper was changed, and even get sweet pictures of their daily moments. This transparency builds strong partnerships with families and gives parents peace of mind knowing their child is well cared for.
Supporting a Smooth Transition to the One-Year-Old Room
As your baby grows and reaches new milestones, our staff is here to support the next step. Around the time of their first birthday, we begin helping your child transition to the one-year-old room. This process is gradual and customized for each child. We adjust nap and meal times as needed and work closely with parents to ensure a smooth and stress-free change. One important policy to note: pacifiers are not permitted in the one-year-old room, and our caregivers are experienced in helping children make that transition gently and comfortably.
Infant Care Backed by Research and Heart
Infant care at Jelly Bean Junction is about more than meeting basic needs—it’s about building strong beginnings. We create a warm, loving space where babies are encouraged to explore, bond with caregivers, and develop at their own pace. Our philosophy aligns with leading child development research, such as the guidance provided by Zero to Three—a national nonprofit that supports healthy early development for infants and toddlers.
